Following the opening of the MTR South Island Line on 28 December 2016, you can only see happy faces now in Wong Chuk Hang. No more terrible traffic jam at the Aberdeen tunnel. Everyone can go to Ocean Park one station away from Admiralty. It is just like a dream.

There is a great chance that Wong Chuk Hang district will be subject to huge change in near future. Despite its unique character, this district is for long time behind the market. Its potential is underestimated.

At this moment many developments is still under construction or on the drawing board. Why is that? Investors hesitate about plunging the money before the opening of the MTR, they prefer staying in a wait and see comfort zone. No banks, shops, cafe except a few brave early birds. Vacant office, vacant industrial space with low rents, art gallery with rare visitors are common.
